New Year’s Eve Wedding in Toronto

Ryan and Chelan’s story:

Ryan and I had been friends for a few years before he finally worked up the courage to ask me out. I wasn’t sure about dating him at first because we have a lot of mutual friends and if things didn’t work out I didn’t want it to be awkward when we hung out. But who could deny his beautiful green eyes and charming personality. We went out on a few dates before making it official and telling our friends! Ryan proposed on December 23, 2015. We started the night off by going back to the restaurant that he took me to on our first date. (Very Romantic). He then asked me if I wanted to take a walk and see some of the Christmas lights. It was a beautiful night and warm despite the fact that it was December, so I agreed. We walked down Bloor Street and came to a beautifully lit Christmas tree! Ryan asked me if I wanted to take a picture by the tree (since I absolutely love pictures) I quickly said yes before he changed his mind. He asked a stranger on the street to take a full length picture, or what I thought was a picture. Instead Ryan had asked this nice man to take a video. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!! We were engaged for just a little over a year before getting married. We thought there would be no better way to celebrate but with a New Year’s Eve Wedding in Toronto with our closest friends and family.
